A spray bottle
Hair conditioner of your choice
Water
Here’s what you’ll do:
1.  Fill your spray bottle two-thirds full with water.
2.  Add conditioner of your choice to finish filling the bottle.
3.  Shake the bottle well, making sure the conditioner and water are thoroughly mixed.
4.  Spray the mixture into your hair and brush as you would normally.

DIY Adorable Fabric Pom Pom Decorations

This is kind of an odd post. I am not sure where this post is originally from. I found it on a random Chinese website. The user's name was ada8014 ... but there are no instructions other than the step by step pictures above. But it looks cute, and easy. I may do this for my room even :)
Basically, just buy the little dollar store Chinese lanterns, cut fabric, hot glue fabric into an "S" shape, glue on to lantern, and repeat. Simple right? :D I love them. If I ever have a girl, these are going in here room :) You could even turn them into lights! Or a chandelier! How cute would that be!?

Diy Homemade Firepit

"How much did your fire pit cost? Only $150? Wow... mine was $23... and I did it myself" Yup, I think a lot of us would love to say that to our nosey neighbors. But now you can. Thank  The Art of Doing Stuff. She made a gorgeous little fire pit, all together, it was only $23. Check out her link for the step but step. NO cutting, NO melting, NO sawing... only gluing. Truly amazing!
Re-purpose rocks outside instead of buying new ones, and have your kids help out with the rock tumbler. I used to have one of these. :) Kids have some pretty odd little treasures.

Healthy McMuffin Copy Cat

Healthy McMuffin??? WHAT? Yes, yes I went there. Here is a quick, healthy, yummy, version of the McMuffin. How is that even possible? It is all possible because of The Yummy life. Well, they may have created an addict... I know what I'm eating every breakfast until I die... THANKS A LOT!
  • 100% whole wheat English muffins
  •  whole eggs -- you can use Egg Beaters or all egg whites, if you prefer
  • sliced cheese -- I used regular cheddar cheese that comes in ultra-thin slices, only 45 calories per slice; you can also use reduced-fat cheese, but it doesn't melt as well. McDonalds uses American cheese, if you're looking for a more authentic taste.
  • Canadian bacon slices
  • Cooked turkey sausage patties -- you can purchase reduced fat or turkey sausage, but it's surprisingly easy to make your own. Here's my recipe
Rachael Ray's muffin pans are amazing! If you are needing to replace old rusty muffin pans, Rachael Ray's link is below.

Homemade Deodorant! Viva La Green!

Good morning! How is everyone? Today I have a treat for you
Homemade deodorant! This is for you extremists, like me! I love the thought of homemade deodorant and I have two recipes for you... so you can pick which one you fancy most. :) The first recipe(the one you see above), is by Wellness Mama. Great website for all cautious women.  Recipe down below!

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup shea buttercocoa butter or mango butter (or a mix of all three equal to 1 part)
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tsp  beeswax
  • optional: Vitamin E oil to preserve. I added 1 tsp vitamin E oil for  this recipe)
  • 3 tablespoons baking soda (Omit this if you have sensitive skin and just use extra arrowroot)
  • 1/2 cup organic arrowroot powder
  • 2-3 capsules of high quality probiotics that don’t need to be refrigerated (I love Bio Kult brand)
  • optional: Essential oils of choice – I used about 20 drops of lavender essential oil

The second and less complicated recipe is by The Frugally Rich Life. The reason I posted two is because one is soft deodorant, and one is hard. I am not sure how you would apply the soft deodorant, and i'n not sure which is more effective.

  • 6-8 Tbsp Coconut oil (solid state)
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch (arrowroot is preferred)”

Fun Scrabble Coasters!

Good afternoon, this is my last post of the day :'( Sad, I know.
I have seen these a few times, but have never blogged about them. Scrabble Coaster! They are so cute, simple, and cheap. If you don't have scrabble pieces I would recommend checking thrift stores first.
I always see scrabble games there.
I found this on Crafting a Green World... They were a little specific... But basically I would just sparingly hot glue the pieces together then glue felt or cork to the bottom. But I posted the link if you want step by steps. And ingredients will be below. Have an amazing rest of the day. God Bless.

  • Hot glue gun
  • 16 scrabble pieces per coaster
  • Felt or cork
  • Maybe some sealing spray

Good morning... afternoon! How are you today? Well I'm great...

I wanted to make this blog because I find that us "domesticated women" have many musings, and I am not an exception. I love Pinterest and get most of my ideas from there. I believe in clean eating and a crafty mind. I hope that our blogging experience will be fun(as I am sure it will be wild). So hop on ladies, to the Domesticated Station wagon... and hold on tight! ;)
